The Mystery Worshipper is looking for volunteer editors
We're looking for volunteer editors to help edit Mystery Worshipper reports. If you have editing skills and would like to contribute to this flagship project on Ship of Fools, we'd love to hear from you.

The Mystery Worshipper has been online since 1998, and in that time we've published 2,000 reports from churches great and small around the world. Every month we publish 15-20 reports submitted by volunteer "church spies". All the reports we receive need editing for spelling, grammar and punctuation, but also for consistency with our style guide, and sometimes for fact checking with the individual Mystery Worshipper.

The ideal candidate will have English text editing experience, good Web research skills, and a willingness to follow the Ship of Fools style guide. He/she will also have access to Dreamweaver, which is the software we currently use to edit and produce the Mystery Worshipper. We're looking for editors who will commit to editing 5-10 reports per month in a timely fashion.

Ship of Fools runs on volunteer steam power, so we are not able to pay for your work. But you'll be part of a volunteer team producing one of the most intriguing and talked-about religious projects on the Net.
